When your Omega Storage is full, there are only two ways to clear space: sell to advisors or upgrade an Omega residence. See the link to the best compilation of items required for upgrades in the Links section at the bottom. As there is a limited number of Omega items, there is frequently overlap between the NeoBank and Storage for items, so I focus on one at a time and usually flip between the two to keep the requirements tame. Each upgrade starts requiring one of three different items. At this time there has not been a maximum reached. As with other upgrades in SimCity BuildIt, you must collect an increasing number of items to upgrade these facilities. The Omega advisor offers also are suppressed while an Epic Project is in flight.Īs mentioned earlier, you are spotted a NeoBank that can hold 5,000 NeoSimoleons (as well as 5,000 NeoSimoleons), and an Omega storage that can hold 15 Omega items. Note Omega advisor popups only start appearing when you have at least 60% of your Omega storage used. There is no capability to list or purchase Omega items on any global trade depot. The only ways to alleviate your Omega storage are to upgrade either your storage/NeoBank, upgrade an Omega residence, or sell Omega items to your Omega advisor. In addition to producing Omega items in your Research Facility, they can also be purchased with NeoSimoleons at the NeoMall. The times in the Labs can vary slightly and be slightly fuzzy near the 'barriers' (2 and 5 hours), but in general those are the time ranges I experience. Omega III - 5 hours-8 hours Lab - 8 hours processing - 3 Omega, 6 Regular items Omega II - 2 hours-5 hours Lab - 3 hours processing - 2 Omega, 4 Regular items Omega I - 30 minutes-2 hours Lab - 1 hour processing - 1 Omega, 2 Regular items Output of each type of canister (note the canisters may rarely produce fewer regular items than what is listed below thanks /u/Paracortex) If you are looking for a Simoleon cost to the Omega items, it can be traced back to how much you spent on the canisters. Each canister, regardless of its size, costs 7000 Simoleons to produce. Your Omega Labs produce Omega canisters which then get processed by the Omega Research Facility. Omega residences and storage/NeoBank upgrades require special Omega items that are only produced out of your Omega Research Facility. The NeoBank, Omega Storage, and Omega Research Facility do not cost any NeoSimoleons, but the Labs do cost an increasing amount of NeoSimoleons. Each of these buildings is 2x2 tiles in size and you must have at least one of each for Omega building (though you can eventually get up to 6 Omega Labs). At the beginning you are able to hold 15 items in Omega storage, and have a capacity of 5000 NeoSimoleons in the NeoBank which are upgradeable with Omega items, similarly to other upgrades in the game. Note that if you ever decide you don't want Omega, you cannot bulldoze or store these buildings. These are the Omega Storage, NeoBank, Omega Research Facility, and Omega Labs. Omega requires a few new government buildings. This guide is intended to give an overview to mayors new to Omega and provide tips/tricks to allow you to grow your Omega zones and turn your city into a futuristic-looking megalopolis! The ability to dip your toes into Omega is provided when you reach level 30. Omega residences do not use the standard police/fire/health buildings as other residential areas. Omega buildings have some of the highest base population (short of Epics) and are futuristic-looking residential buildings. Omega is here to guide you into the future with its advanced residences, utilities, and NeoSimoleons.
